The Challenge
For more than 35 years LifeNet Health has been the world's most trusted provider of transplant solutions and a leader in regenerative medicine. Their work depends on donors and healthcare professionals, and the organization is committed to honoring both.
LifeNet's marketing agency had a genuinely difficult brief: capture the innovation, convey the mission, set the stage for the future — and do all of it while keeping the warm personality of the brand intact.
Those requirements pull against each other. Lean into the science and the film goes cold. Lean into the emotion and it stops explaining what the organization actually does. And the subject matter — organ and tissue donation — carries real grief that can't be glossed over or exploited.
The Work
Flagship collaborated with LifeNet's agency of record to bring their idea to life.
Our Director and DP provided concept consulting on the brand story, scene selection, and shot alignment, then filmed and directed the piece and handled all post-production. The agency owned the strategy; we made it work on camera and in the edit.
The approach throughout was restraint. Complex scientific processes and difficult human experiences both get room, and neither is pushed harder than it needs to be.
The Result
A well-crafted and persuasive brand video that's sensitive in its approach — hitting the marks on a challenging and uplifting project.
